David has been in the food industry for over 18 years, is a qualified chef and a NZQA assessor, and also has qualifications in adult education. David continued his studies with workplace training and had the opportunity to work with John Campbell at his two-star Michelin restaurant. After spending many years travelling and working in Europe and Canada, he moved to New Zealand. David has extensive experience in training food safety and working with food control plans. Before joining the team at NSF, David was managing the kitchen teams at Wellington Regional Hospital. Away from work, David likes to spend his spare time mountain biking, running and relaxing with the family.
