VITAL 2 Allergen Training

Gain a better understanding of food labelling and meet EPS standard requirements. Offered in association with the Allergan Bureau, our VITAL 2 (Voluntary Incidental Trace Allergen Labelling) training course is designed for food manufacturer QA or technical team members. Using VITAL tools and VITAL risk assessment, you learn to review the ingredients and processing conditions that contribute to the allergen status and labelling of a finished product.

Please contact us at training@nsfburwater.co.nz for course dates, times and locations.

What Is VITAL?

The VITAL programme risk assessment identifies allergens present in a food due to intentional inclusion or by cross contact with other foods produced in a facility. This system helps to identify which allergens should or should not be included on a product label.
